Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions using comprehensive assessments to establish individualized treatment plans that align with physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment processes, utilizing therapeutic modalities and modalities specific to orthopedic care, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills as you build rapport with patients and their families, ensuring they feel valued and engaged throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously refine treatment approaches, employing best practices that improve recovery outcomes.
• Perform detailed documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with compliance regulations and facility standards.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers about injury prevention and ongoing wellness to sustain improvements made during therapy.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to organizational growth by exploring innovative treatment approaches and continual professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is primarily focused on treating a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Proficient in using electronic medical records systems and general computer skills for documentation purposes.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
