Insurance-11-50 employees. Specializes in personal lines and small commercial policies. We represent over 20 insurance companies.

What we are looking for in a new employee who has 15 years + experience in an Independent Agency.

Daily Responsibilities

Rate new & renewal business, generate insurance proposals, process policy endorsements and certificates of insurance, and follow up on prior quotes.

Qualifications

P & C Licensed, experienced, and knowledgeable in sales of home, condo, renters, auto, flood, dwelling, and umbrella policies. Must know how to sell and be an insurance salesperson. Knowledge of commercial lines underwriting is helpful.

A highly organized person who can work on their own and ability to work independently and with the rest of the office staff.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

• We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable Personal lines CSR who understands underwriting, is a strong salesperson, and has extensive cross-selling experience.

• Independent Agency experience of at least 15 years. NJ licensed, highly motivated, used to working in a fast-paced office, can work independently, and is trustworthy and does not have to be watched.
• They need to be able to work as a team member.
• They would be trained on our office rules and ways, but I don’t want to teach them how to sell or about insurance.
• We need someone who is familiar and know how to write business with our companies: FMI, Chubb, Travelers, Andover, Cumberland, Farmers of Salem, Progressive, N&D, Plymouth Rock, Lemonade, Narragansett and Safeco. Familiar with our Agency Management system, which is AMS 360. Knowing how to write a commercial is a plus.
• Knows how to type at least 40 words a minute with great communication skills.
• Someone who likes to work and will look for things to do when they are caught up.
• Pay is based on experience. We have a great base & commission bonus plans on written premium, making it easy for a great salesperson to make good money.
