JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. The ideal candidate will be required to assist in coordinating contractual requirements, design drawings, scheduling and project specifications that include, but not limited to:

• On-site project management
• Supervise on-site construction
• Schedule, supervise, and direct workers and sub-contractors on the job
• Project coordination, project controls and project documentation
• Cost tracking for sequential costing
• Job cost analysis
• Project schedule and development adherence
• Weekly team meetings
• Assist with the submittal process
• Project monthly reporting generation
• Contract administration
• Flexibility to work on varying project scopes

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES FOR POSITION:

• On-site project management
• Ability to Commute to Davie, FL (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a project engineer or assistant project manager in the construction industry with project management
• Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applications
• Walk clearly through a portfolio of work demonstrating where candidate has ensured projects were delivered on time and on budget
• Work efficiently with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project Management and AutoCad skills preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and are required to interface directly with owners’ representatives, the A/E team, building departments and other team members.
